Tablature is a written method that shows you how to play a song on the guitar note by note. We’ll show you how to find free tablature, tablature for sale, and how to find lyrics and chords on the web.

Regular music notation tells you which notes to play, but tablature tells you exactly how to play the notes on a stringed instrument…which string to pick and where to fret it. There’s lots of free tab on the web, and you can access it to learn to play licks, solos or even entire songs, just the way your favorite guitarist played them. We’ll help you find free tab, but be aware that anyone can post tablature on the web, so not everything you find will be accurate. That’s why you may also want to buy tablature books from publishers who hire trained professional musicians to transcribe music.
We’ll also help you find blank tablature paper that you can print out, so that you can write down licks and tunes yourself.
